On behalf of our diocesan, the Honorable Bishop Sherman L. Merritt, we welcome you to the official internet home of the First Apostolic Council of Kentucky & Tennessee (F.A.C.).

     In 1909, in the city of Louisville, Kentucky, a small group of Christians heard the late great Bishop Garfield Thomas Haywood preach a dynamic message about the saving power of Jesus Christ.  Instantly becoming purveyors of the finished work of Calvary, they formed a burgeoning assembly that now, over 100 years later, has grown into the F. A. C.  

     Today, we are a Pentecostal, holiness fellowship of churches as well as an auxiliary of the world's oldest Apostolic organization, the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc.  We hope that you will both peruse and enjoy this site; it is your first glimpse of who we are.  It will also be updated accordingly to keep you apprised of our meetings, events, schedules, and activities.  Feel free to contact us if you require more information.

     Once you have learned all you need to know, please consider fellowshipping with us.  At our conferences, you will experience great fellowship, informative seminars, practical workshops, exciting youth activities, refreshing small group sessions, Men's and Women's ministries, Certified Ministerial training, structured Christian Education, a healthy atmosphere of corporate worship, and the precious word of God preached with conviction and power.

     Our greatest aspirations are to promote and encourage the saving of souls and to glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
